Beverly writes, “I like the smile and relaxed air of this young man who holds the nose of the man in the moon. I wonder why the paint on the nose of the man in the moon is not worn off, since so many of my cards show the sitter holding the nose.”

  1. Seeing this should make me get back to work on the book on our paper moon photographs. Life has been rather hectic for several months but sorting our 100+ paper moon images and planning which to use in my book should lighten my mood!

  2. Oh now I would love to have a retro moon photo like this done because everyone looks like they are so happy! I love the light-hearted whimsy of this post, it really brightened my day (literally no pun intended, I’ve been sick with pneumonia and just had my first full day without a high fever since last Friday!). I’d love to read whatever book you come out with on the topic, Beverly Wilgus! Thanks so much for sharing some of her collection with us, Lisby!
